The lawyers at Jewitt McLuckie & Associates firmly believe that all workers have the right to go to work without experiencing discrimination or harassment based on race, disability, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, religion, creed, family status, marital status or any other prohibited ground set out in human rights legislation.  

Our lawyers have many years of experience representing unions and employees in discrimination claims and we regularly litigate and resolve human rights issues before labour arbitrators and administrative tribunals.  

We regularly advise our union clients on innovative ways to improve collective agreement language in order to protect and advance the human rights of union members.  We also regularly conduct workshops and training seminars for our union clients on human rights issues.
