Jacqueline joined Jewitt McLuckie as an associate after articling in house at a large private-sector union where she gained experience representing the interests of workers at the Ontario Labour Relations Board and before labour arbitrators.
Jacqueline completed her law degree at the University of Ottawa. She also holds a BSoSC, also from uOttawa, and an MA in Political and Legal Thought from Queen’s University. She was called to the bar of Ontario in 2024.
During law school, Jacqueline volunteered at Reach Legal Referral Services, the Ottawa and District Injured Workers Group and the Trans ID Clinic. She also worked as a legal research assistant on projects related to Canadian surrogacy laws and workers’ experiences with disability accommodation. Jacqueline is proud to have been actively involved in the local union representing academic workers, serving as a steward and member of the bargaining committee. She received the Alison Dewar Scholarship and the Goldblatt Partners Prize in recognition of her commitment to the labour movement and for overall achievement in labour, employment and human rights courses.
Jacqueline is a member of the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers and the Canadian Association of Lawyers with Disabilities.
